According to preliminary statistics, in the first half of 2022, market supervision departments at all levels organized supervision and random inspections of 3,137 batches of ice cream products, and the inspection items included protein, cyclamate, saccharin sodium, aspartame, total colony count, coliform group, Salmonella, Listeria monocytogenes, etc. Among them, 15 batches of unqualified samples were detected, and the unqualified items were total colony count, coliform group, Listeria monocytogenes and protein. The main reason for the unqualified sampling is the inadequate control of sanitary conditions in the production and processing process, or the microbial contamination caused by irregular operations in the transportation, storage and sales of the products. The local market supervision departments have dealt with the enterprises and unqualified products found in accordance with the law.
