Shortly after the payment, Gu found that the other party had blocked his WeChat account and realized that he had been cheated.

"Special medicine" to defraud property and information

Mr. Chen believed the scammer's promotion of "special preventive medicine for the new coronavirus" and was defrauded of 9,000 yuan. Afterwards, he realized that he had been deceived and contacted the other party but the phone was turned off, so he reported the case.
