The Central Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning for heavy snow at 18:00 on March 16:

It is expected that from 20:00 on March 16 to 20:00 on March 17, parts of the south-central Inner Mongolia, northern Shanxi, northwestern Hebei and the mountainous areas of northwestern Beijing will have heavy snow, with local blizzards (10-18 mm). The new snow depth in the above-mentioned areas will be 3-8 cm, and may exceed 15 cm in some places.

Blue warning for heavy rain:

Parts of Henan, Anhui, Jiangsu and other places

There will be heavy rain in some parts of Anhui.

It is predicted that from 20:00 on March 16 to 20:00 on March 17, there will be heavy rain in southern Henan, central and eastern Hubei, most of Anhui, most of Jiangsu, northwestern Zhejiang, north and central Shanghai, northern Jiangxi, northern and southern Hunan, northeastern Yunnan and other places. Among them, there will be heavy rain in parts of southeastern Henan, central and southern Anhui, central and southern Jiangsu, etc., and torrential rain (100-120 mm) in some parts of southern Anhui. Some of the above-mentioned areas will be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall (maximum hourly rainfall of 20-50 mm, and more than 60 mm in some areas), and local strong convective weather such as thunderstorms, gales or hail.

The severe convection blue warning shows that by 20:00 on the 17th, parts of central and southern Anhui, central Jiangsu, southern Sichuan and other places will have 8-10 thunderstorm gale or hail weather; parts of southern Henan, central and southern Jiangsu, western Zhejiang, western and northern Fujian, southeastern Sichuan Basin and other places will have short-term heavy precipitation weather. The main impact period of severe convection is expected to be the night of the 16th.
