Traditional Chinese medicine focuses on syndrome differentiation and treatment, that is, treatment is based on different clinical symptoms. There are no widely available therapeutic drugs. Therefore, even adults should choose appropriate therapeutic drugs according to their own specific conditions, even if they are tonics and health-care drugs. So what are the harms of Acanthopanax tea?

1. The efficacy and characteristics of Acanthopanax senticosus are basically the same as those of Wild Ginseng, which has the effect of adjusting the disorder of the body and making it tend to normal. However, all medicines are poisonous, and improper use of Acanthopanax can also have side effects. However, there are very few reports on the side effects of taking Acanthopanax. However, side effects generally occur at higher doses (4.56 ml three times a day) and include insomnia, skin irritation, depression and depression. Young volunteers with rheumatoid heart disease reported pericardial pain, headache, palpitations and increased blood pressure after taking Acanthopanax senticosus. Very few users may experience temporary mild diarrhea.

2. Modern pharmacological research has confirmed that Acanthopanax contains a variety of acanthopanax glycosides, polysaccharides and other special ingredients, which have the medicinal value of delaying aging, relieving fatigue (the fatigue relieving effect of Acanthopanax glycosides is stronger than that of ginseng), preventing cancer, and regulating nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular functions, and enhancing the body's resistance to physical, chemical, microbial and other harmful stimuli. It often has certain effects in the treatment of neurasthenia, insomnia, hypertension, coronary heart disease, cerebral infarction, cerebral arteriosclerosis, female menopausal syndrome, dyslipidemia, diabetes, rheumatism, chronic bronchitis and tumors. It can enhance immunity, increase blood volume, improve blood supply to the heart and brain, and also regulate blood pressure. It also has a very good therapeutic effect on sexual dysfunction, impotence and premature ejaculation.

3. Long-term use of Acanthopanax has little toxicity and side effects, and does not affect falling asleep or normal sleep. In clinical medicine, there have been reports of poisoning caused by using the root bark of Acanthopanax scapularis to stew pork tripe to treat joint pain, due to overdose (5.4 to 13.5 times the normal dose), resulting in toxic side effects such as eye papillitis and multiple neuritis. Improper use of Acanthopanax will cause certain side effects, which will not only have no practical effect on the treatment of the disease, but also aggravate the patient's physical discomfort. Therefore, everyone must follow the doctor's instructions when using this product, use it according to the dosage, and do not change the dosage without permission.
