Do not pick or eat poisonous plants on the plateau!

As the temperature continues to rise

Spring on the Plateau

It seems to be really coming

The desire to go hiking

Already starting to get agitated

Honey jar is the childhood memory of many people

Every time I go outdoors

Gently pick a flower

Hold it in your mouth and suck it slowly

You can taste the sweetness of flowers and plants

The so-called "honey pot"

Corydalis scabra

Plants such as Cymbidium heterophyllum

But many plants are poisonous.

Better not touch it

Oxytropis glacialis

Tongza, Tongmucha or Tomuza in Tibetan, is a plant endemic to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It grows on hillside grasslands, gravel slopes, riverbed gravel and sandy land at an altitude of 4400-5300m. It is mainly distributed in the central and northwestern parts of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

The whole plant of Oxytropis glaciosa is poisonous and retains its toxicity even after it withers and dries in winter.

02

Stellera chamaejasme

This kind of flower is very common in the wild on the plateau. It is the heartbreak grass that we often hear. This name easily reminds people of the plot in "The Return of the Condor Heroes" where the heartbreak grass cures the poison of the love flower.

As the name suggests, Stellera chamaejasme is poisonous. Do not ingest it by mistake. Even if you need to use it, use it with caution and consult a professional doctor for advice.

03

Cassia lanceolate

Common name: horse bean, lanceolate yellow flower, oriental wild cassia. It grows in grassland sand dunes, river banks and gravel beaches. The whole plant is poisonous, and the seeds and flowers are the most toxic.

A small amount is used for medicinal purposes, and it has the effect of removing phlegm and relieving cough. But remember to consult a professional doctor and do not consume it at will.

It often coexists with wolfsbane. Is this the case that poisons of the same kind attract like?

04

Aconitum rutinae

It grows on mountain grass slopes, field meadows or riverside sandy land between 1550 and 3800 meters above sea level.

The flowers, stems, leaves and roots are all poisonous. It is the earliest recorded poisonous plant in my country.

If you come across these plants when traveling

Stay away from them.

Of course

We should not pick plants at will in the wild

They are probably rare and endangered plants.

Let us all protect the ecological environment
