How to deal with muscle soreness after exercise?

Exercise is the cure for everything.

Exercise is a good medicine for everything.

There are many benefits of exercise. Exercise can improve our circulatory system, enhance cardiopulmonary function, regulate blood pressure, and reduce the incidence of myocardial infarction, stroke, and respiratory diseases. Exercise can help us regulate the ratio of fat and muscle content in the body, regulate blood lipid levels, and reduce the incidence of chronic diseases such as diabetes. Exercise can also cheer up, eliminate worries and fatigue.

However, excessive exercise or improper exercise methods can cause us to feel uncomfortable and even have some adverse effects on the body, so a reasonable and scientific exercise method is very important.

There are generally two reasons for muscle soreness after exercise. One is that excessive exercise causes overload on local muscles, increased metabolism, and accumulation of lactic acid or acid products, which leads to local soreness. The second possibility is that local muscle tissue suffers from tears and other injuries, causing pain.

Treatment of soreness caused by lactic acid accumulation

1. Warm-up exercises are needed before exercise. Sufficient warm-up can avoid muscle damage during exercise and reduce the accumulation of lactic acid to a certain extent.

2. Relaxation training is needed after exercise. After high-intensity aerobic exercise, some slow-paced soothing exercises are needed to promote the metabolism of lactic acid in the muscles.

3. If you experience muscle soreness after exercise, you need to pay attention to rest, let your muscles fully relax, and avoid strenuous exercise again in a short period of time.

4. After exercise, you need to do some corresponding self-treatment, such as applying local ice to the sore area, patting and massaging, or using fascia guns and other equipment to relax. When the soreness just occurs, you can apply appropriate ice. The simplest way is to use iced drinking water to roll ice on the sore area, but remember not to apply ice to the same position for a long time; patting and massaging the sore area can relax the muscles, promote blood circulation, help repair muscle injuries and relieve spasms; fascia guns use high-frequency vibrations to relieve muscle fascia and internal pressure to a certain extent, reduce local tissue tension, and thus achieve the effects of relieving pain and promoting muscle blood circulation.

5. Take a warm bath after exercise. It is recommended to take a hot bath half an hour after exercise, which can promote blood circulation and relax the motor system, circulatory system and nervous system.

6. Remember to replenish nutrition after exercise. Supplementing high-quality protein and corresponding carbohydrates after exercise can help us recover our physical strength quickly and effectively improve the symptoms of muscle soreness after exercise.

Treatment of muscle injuries: If muscle injuries occur during exercise, remember not to treat them yourself. It is recommended that you go to a nearby professional rehabilitation medical institution for standardized rehabilitation evaluation and rehabilitation treatment.

Let’s exercise together. Life lies in exercise. As long as life continues, exercise will continue.

Go to exercise, life lies in exercise, life is more than, exercise is more than.
