When I was browsing Tik Tok, I always saw some videos of Japanese families cooking, saying that they like to throw a piece of oil-absorbing paper into the pot when cooking, and try to absorb all the oil in the pot to feel healthy. Like this, when frying chicken legs, they have to absorb the oil thoroughly. (Inner thoughts: Isn’t it just fried with oil to make it fragrant?) Young actor Gong Jun also posted a photo showing that when he eats takeout, he likes to use oil-absorbing paper to absorb the oil before eating. (Pictures are from the Internet) I can’t accept throwing paper into food, especially food that is at high temperature. Is it really safe to throw this kind of oil-absorbing paper into food? Is it really harmless to the human body? So our sample group bought 6 types of oil-absorbing papers to review for everyone. (4 of them are from Japan and 2 are from China) The materials of the four Japanese-made models are the same: seiwa-pro and LISSA are thicker and feel rougher; POKEBOAR is thinner and feels very soft; Ichihinachi is in between the two; The two domestically produced ones are both made of very thin non-woven fabrics (they don’t look very absorbent, we’ll see the truth after a test). What Ka-jie is most concerned about is safety. Are these oil-absorbing papers for soup safe in all aspects? With doubts, we asked engineers to conduct tests (based on GB 4806.7-2016 "National Food Safety Standard Food Contact Plastic Materials and Products" as the technical standard).
Now that the safety issue has been resolved, I feel relieved. Next, let's test the second most concerned issue: how effective are they in absorbing oil? Are they really useful? Sister Ka made 6 boxes of instant noodles and used 6 types of oil-absorbing papers to absorb them. The method of use is very simple: after the instant noodles are soaked, throw a piece of paper in, and when it is full of oil, pick it out. The performance of these 6 oil-absorbing papers is still strong and weak. Among them, Yipin Town and LISSA have the best oil absorption effect, and almost all the red oil on the surface is absorbed; Zhan Yi and Liang Duo have the worst effects, and there is still a heavy layer of red oil after absorbing it; The oil absorption effect of seiwa-pro and POKEBOAR is also good, but the oil locking effect is worse. When you take them out, the oil will drip back into the bowl. In order to see their adsorption power more objectively, we also weighed the weight of each oil-absorbing paper after absorbing oil.
