According to data from the State Post Bureau, on November 11, postal express delivery companies nationwide handled a total of 701 million parcels, 151% of the daily business volume, a year-on-year increase of 9.7%. Since entering the peak season on October 21, the express delivery market has continued to expand, with an average daily business volume of over 580 million pieces. From October 21 to November 11, a total of 12.783 billion parcels were handled nationwide, with an average daily processing volume of 125% of the daily business volume.

Among them, the express delivery volume on October 22 reached 729 million pieces, setting a new record for single-day volume.

It is reported that this year is the 15th time that the postal express industry has faced the peak season for express delivery business.

Affected by the changes in the promotion model and rhythm of e-commerce platforms, this year's express delivery business peak season lasted for a long time and the battle line was long, and the business volume continued to maintain a high level. Express delivery companies strengthened the reserve of personnel, transportation capacity, venues, processing equipment, and information system capabilities, and increased temporary employment in various ways, effectively improving the industry's carrying capacity and operating efficiency.

It should be noted that low temperatures and local rain and snow weather have occurred in many parts of the country recently, increasing the delivery pressure on couriers.

Postal management departments in various regions have promptly issued consumer tips, calling for tolerance and understanding of couriers.
