State Post Bureau: By September 2024, the national express delivery business revenue will exceed 1 trillion yuan

Data from the State Post Bureau showed that as of September 29, the national express delivery business revenue this year exceeded 1 trillion yuan, among which the top three express delivery companies in terms of brand full-network revenue were SF Express, ZTO Express and YTO Express.

Since exceeding 1 trillion yuan for the first time in 2021, China's annual express delivery revenue has maintained a rapid growth trend, and the time to break the trillion yuan mark has shortened year by year, and this year is nearly one and a half months earlier than last year.

The relevant person in charge of the State Post Bureau said that the next step will be to focus on promoting high-quality development of the industry, adhere to digitalization and intelligent empowerment of the industry, cultivate and develop new quality productivity according to local conditions, and extend the digitalization and intelligent tentacles to all links of collection, transportation and delivery more fully, so as to effectively improve the total factor productivity. Strengthen the construction of the delivery network, optimize the layout of delivery hubs around the construction of urban agglomerations, continue to promote the construction of rural delivery logistics systems, improve the international delivery service network, and continuously improve the internal and external connectivity capabilities. Continue to deepen industrial collaboration, promote the integration of service chains and advanced manufacturing, and better serve economic development.
