Alibaba: AliExpress Choice business will drive Alibaba's international retail business growth rate to 38% in Q1 2024

According to media reports, AliExpress, a cross-border e-commerce platform under Alibaba Group, topped the iOS free download list of the UK App Store, surpassing many local and international competitors. It was followed by Temu and Shein, which ranked second and fourth respectively, and Tiktok ranked sixth.

This also means that among the top five popular apps in the UK, three are Chinese apps, demonstrating the strong competitiveness of Chinese e-commerce in the global market.

AliExpress has not only increased its "overseas hosting" services for core European and American countries such as the United Kingdom, but has also introduced a richer supply of goods through projects such as hundreds of billions of subsidies, meeting the needs of overseas consumers for personalized and customized products.

Not long ago, AliExpress also announced the launch of a customization function, allowing consumers to place orders directly within the App without having to negotiate with merchants offline.

Alibaba's financial report data for the first quarter of fiscal year 2025 also showed that the international digital commerce group's revenue increased by 32% year-on-year, exceeding market expectations for eight consecutive quarters.
