JD Logistics Financial Report: In Q1 2022, JD Logistics' revenue was 27.4 billion yuan and its net loss was 1.386 billion yuan

JD Logistics released its first quarter 2022 performance report. The financial report shows that in the first quarter of this year, JD Logistics' revenue reached 27.4 billion yuan, of which external customer revenue accounted for nearly 60%, and the number of external integrated supply chain customers increased by nearly 20% year-on-year. The net loss in the first quarter was 1.386 billion yuan, compared with a loss of 11.069 billion yuan in the same period last year.

The financial report shows that as of March 31, 2022, JD Logistics has operated approximately 1,400 warehouses across the country. Including the management area of ​​the cloud warehouse ecological platform, the total management area of ​​JD Logistics' warehousing network exceeds 25 million square meters.

JD Logistics explained the reasons for its losses in its financial report, citing its continued investment in logistics infrastructure, supply chain technology research and development, and salaries and benefits for front-line employees, as well as its full participation in anti-epidemic efforts and supply assurance in Shanghai and other places, and its efforts to help businesses resume work and production.

JD Logistics also announced that Ma Yue has submitted his resignation as the company's chief financial officer (CFO) due to his new position in JD Group, effective May 17, 2022.
