Sabre Holdings: Total revenue for Q4 2014 is expected to be US$639-654 million.

TPG and Silver Lake Partners, major investors in GDS giant Sabre Holdings, plan to sell 20 million shares of the company.

Following the announcement of the stock sale, Sabre also filed preliminary unaudited fourth quarter and full year 2014 financial results.

The statement said Sabre is likely to complete a $500 million acquisition by the end of March.

Here are Sabre's fourth-quarter financial results, excluding the Travelocity business it sold to Expedia in January.

Total revenue for the fourth quarter of 2014 is expected to be US$639 million to US$654 million, an increase of US$12 million to US$27 million over the same period last year, a year-on-year increase of 1.9% to 4.3%.

Sabre expects fourth-quarter GDS revenue to be $429 million to $439 million, down $1 million to $11 million from the same period last year, a year-on-year decrease of 0.2% to 2.5%.

Sabre attributed the decline in GDS business to "lower data processing revenue from joint ventures. Growth in the first three quarters of 2014 was better, which resulted in lower revenue recognition in 2014 compared to 2013."

This decline was offset by a 1% year-over-year increase in billable direct bookings.

Strong growth in bookings in EMEA reflected increased market share in the region, but was offset by a small decline in South America, largely due to a drop in travel from Venezuela.

On a positive note, the fourth quarter Airline and Hospitality Solutions segment's estimated revenues are $213-218 million, up $24-29 million from the same period last year, or 12.7%-15.4% year-over-year.

In summary, operating profit is expected to be US$99 million to US$109 million, an increase of US$13 million to US$23 million over the same period last year, a year-on-year increase of 15.4% to 27.1%.
