The report shows that in 2011, the average annual online shopping spending of Chinese online shoppers reached 3,901 yuan, an increase of 642 yuan or 19.7% compared with 2010. Among them, users with annual online shopping spending of 2,001-5,000 yuan accounted for the largest proportion, accounting for 23.1%, and users with annual online shopping spending of 501-5,000 yuan accounted for 57.8%. In terms of payment methods, Alipay is the main means of payment for online users in China. The proportion of online shoppers using Alipay has reached 67.4%, followed by direct remittance through online banking, accounting for 53.1%, and the proportion of using credit cards is only 6.6%. In addition, according to the monitoring results of the China Internet Data Platform, the total number of people covered by online shopping in August 2012 was 278 million, accounting for 63.6% of the total number of people covered, the average daily visit time per person was 19 minutes, and the average daily visit times per person was 6.1 times. |
