[Properties] The dry tuber is oblong or oval, with a reddish-brown surface, obvious longitudinal wrinkles and annular depressions, forming nodular and uneven protrusions. There is a circle of root marks in the narrowed part of the depression. It is hard, reddish-brown in cross section, powdery, and has a regular reticular pattern. 【Functions and indications】Promote blood circulation, stop bleeding, regulate qi and relieve pain. Treat postpartum abdominal pain, irregular menstruation, metrorrhagia, vomiting blood due to internal injuries, rheumatic joint pain, dysentery, sores, boils, snake bites, and bleeding from external injuries.
