Inflorescence capitulate, 4-5mm in diameter, 7-11 in number, sparse, peduncle 2-3mm long, fused with bract base; involucre about 4mm long, covered with white long soft hairs; involucral bracts 2-3 layers, colorless or light brown, slightly protruding above the hairs; florets dioecious; corolla 3mm long; male corolla tubular, funnel-shaped at the top; female corolla filamentous, pappus white, thick, serrated at the bottom; male pappus corolla thicker, serrated at the top; female pappus nearly toothless at the top. Sterile ovary and achenes glabrous. Flowering period is from June to September.
