[Source] This product is the dried mature seeds of Euphorbia lathyris L., a plant of the Euphorbiaceae family . The fruits are harvested when they are ripe in summer and autumn, and then impurities are removed and dried.

[Properties] This product is oval or obovate, about 5mm long and 4mm in diameter. The surface is gray-brown or gray-brown with irregular reticular wrinkles. The depressions in the reticular holes are gray-black, forming fine spots. There is a longitudinal groove-like seed ridge on one side, with a protruding fusion point at the top and a linear seed ridge at the bottom.
