The petiole is 40-60cm long, glabrous, light brown at the base, straw-colored to light green above; the leaf blade is thick, papery, glabrous, oblong-ovate, 40-50cm long, 25-30cm wide, deeply pinnate-lobed twice or tripinnate-lobed at the base; the pinnae are 8-10 pairs, opposite, with short petioles, obliquely spreading at the bottom, sessile at the top, broadly lanceolate, 15-20cm long, 3-5cm wide, with long tails at the top, and deep comb-toothed pinnae reaching the wide wings on both sides of the rachis, with the base of the base pair of pinnae forked; the lobes are 20-25 pairs, alternate, sickle-shaped and broadly lanceolate, 1.8-3cm long, 5-7mm wide, and entire; the rachis is straw-colored, with obvious veins, the upper side of the base of the lobe is connected to the lower side of the base of the previous lobe to form an arc-shaped vein, forming a row of narrow meshes on both sides of the rachis, and the veins outside the meshes are separated.
