【Original form】 Tree, 10m high. The trunk is very short and has many branches. Leaves are opposite; petiole is 6-8mm long; leaves are large, leathery, lanceolate or oblong, 12-25cm long, 3-4.5cm wide, with long acuminate tip and broad cuneate base, with many transparent small glandular dots on the leaf surface; pinnate veins, 12-16 pairs of lateral veins. The inflorescence is terminal; the pedicel is 1-2cm long, the flowers are white, and the diameter is 3-4cm; the calyx tube is obconical, 8-10mm long, with 4 calyx teeth, semicircular, 6mm long, and 8-9mm wide; there are 4 petals, separated, broadly ovate, and about 14mm long; there are many stamens, 2-2.8cm long, and the anthers are 1.5mm long, T-shaped, and longitudinally fissured; the ovary is inferior, and the style is equal to the stamens. The fruit is spherical, with fleshy skin, 3-5cm in diameter, yellow when ripe, with oil gland spots, 1-2 seeds, and multiple embryos. The flowering period is March-April, and the fruiting period is May-June.
