【Original form】 Plant height 15cm. The rhizome is short and erect, densely covered with black lanceolate scales with sparse teeth on the edges. Leaves are clustered; petioles are bright chestnut black, scaly at base and smooth upward; leaf blades are papery, rounded like turtles, deeply cordate at base, vary greatly in size, usually 3-6cm in diameter, glabrous on both sides, entire or slightly wavy; leaf veins are fan-shaped, extending along the midrib and branching dichotomously many times, with veinlets separated at the top or occasionally connected. The sporangium is clustered on opposite sides of the second or third bifurcated veinlets and merges when mature; the sporangium cover is linear, membranous, entire, and relatively open.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Grown on shady and moist rocks under forests or at the foot of caves at an altitude of 800-1800m.
