[Original form] Vanda lyrei, an epiphyte. The stem is short and cylindrical. The leaves are leathery, ribbon-shaped, curved and extended, 20-30cm long, 1-3cm wide, 3-lobed at the apex, with sharp serrated lobes and slightly pleated base. The pedicels are axillary, shorter than the leaves; the racemes are sparsely populated with a few flowers; the bracts are small, ovate-triangular, and obtuse at the apex; the pedicels (including the ovary) are about 3 cm long; the flowers are thick, light yellow, spotless, and about 3 cm in diameter; the sepals are obliquely oblong, with obtuse apex and wavy edges; the petals are obovate, slightly smaller than the sepals, with rounded apex and short claws at the base; the lip is 3-lobed, the lateral lobes are small, erect, sickle-triangular, the middle lobe is viola-shaped, constricted in the middle and upper parts, the apex is enlarged and usually slightly concave, with multiple warty protrusions on the upper surface, and a callus with 2 papillate hairs at the entrance of the spur; the spur is slender, about 7 mm long; there are 2 pollen blocks, which are half-cleft.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: epiphytic on trees or rocks in the forest at an altitude of 1300-2100m.
