Leaves are alternate; petioles are nearly as long as leaves and are glabrous; leaf blades are rounded pentagonal, 5-10cm long and wide, 3-parted, the central lobe is rhombic-obovate, 3-lobed near the middle, the terminal lobe is narrowly ovate to linear-lanceolate, with a short tip, the lateral lobes are obliquely fan-shaped, about 2 times wider than the central lobe, and unequally deeply divided near the base. Inflorescence 60cm long, sparse, the lowest branch up to 15cm long, with a few flowers; the outside of the inflorescence axis, pedicels and sepals are all covered with white short soft hairs that are recurved or nearly swallowtail, without yellow glandular dots; the lower bracts are leaf-shaped, and the upper bracts are linear; the pedicels are 0.3-3cm long; the filter capsules are born near the middle of the pedicel, linear, 3-5mm long; the flowers are bisexual, the beaks on both sides are 1.5-2cm long, glabrous inside, slightly concave at the lower edge, the lateral sepals are about 1.4cm, the lower sepals are 8mm long, blue-purple, and covered with short yellow glandular hairs on the outside; there are 2 petals, with thin claws, nearly spherical spurs, about 1.5mm long, and the lip is about 4mm long, slightly concave at the end, and glabrous; there are many stamens, the filaments have bud teeth or entire margins, and are glabrous; there are 5 carpels, densely covered with soft hairs. Follicle time. Many seeds. The flowering period is August-September, and the fruiting period is September-October.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Growing on mountain grass slopes, shrubs or stream sides at an altitude of 3960-4700m.
