[Source] It is a plant of the genus Cardiocrinum of the Liliaceae family. Cardiocrinum giganteum (Wall.) Makino [Lilium giganteum Wall.], the bulbs of which are used as medicine. Dig up in summer, wash and dry.

【Original form】 Perennial tall herb. The bulb is large, dark green, up to 18 cm high and 15 cm in diameter; the scales are few, broadly oval, and loosely arranged. The above-ground stem is tall, up to 1 meter high, erect, unbranched, cylindrical and hollow. The basal leaves are rosette-shaped, long-stalked, and broadly ovate. It blooms in summer and autumn. The flower stems are tall and straight, with a multi-flowered raceme at the top. The flowers are large, fragrant, trumpet-shaped, white, with light green stripes on the outside and light reddish-purple stripes on the inside. The fruit is slightly pear-shaped, about 7 cm long, with a thick stalk. The seeds are extremely numerous and have membranous triangular wings.
