Thornless or old branches with thorns, young branches densely covered with brown stellate hairs, old branches gray-black; buds dark yellow with stellate hairs. Simple leaves are alternate, petioles are stellate pubescent, 2-4mm long; leaves are papery, broadly ovate or ovate-elliptical, 3-5.5cm long, 1.5-3cm wide, with obtuse or short acute apex, rounded or nearly cordate base, covered with white stellate pubescent hairs when young, then glabrous, densely covered with pale white stellate hairs on the underside, sometimes with scales or scales. The flowers are white, covered with silver or scattered brown stellate hairs, with short pedicels; the perianth tube is cylindrical, 5-7mm long, with 4 lobes, lanceolate or ovate-triangular; there are 4 stamens; the style is erect, glabrous or slightly covered with stellate hairs.
