The efficacy and action points of Poria

Fushen is the name of a Chinese herbal medicine. This product is the white part of the natural pine root (i.e. Poria cocos) in the middle of the polypore fungus plant Fuling Nucifera. The effects and functions are: calming the mind, soothing the nerves, aiding sleep, and promoting diuresis. Treats palpitations due to gallbladder deficiency, memory loss, insomnia, epilepsy, and difficulty urinating. Let’s discuss in detail the effects and support of Poria cocos.

The efficacy and support of Fu Shen

Step 1: Calming effect.

In the experiment on mice, abdominal injection of 5g/kg of Poria decoction can calm the mice, with a calmness rate of 90% and a calmness index of 3.11. If 20g/kg is administered intragastricly, the calmness rate is 85.7% and the calmness index is 1.64.

Step 2: Suppress tumor effects.

The structure of fulingsu sugar is the carbon bond of β (1-6) pyranoglucoside. When the carbon bond is broken, it becomes a simple β- (1-3) glucan (i.e. the sugar content of fulingsu sugar), and the inhibitory effect rate on sarcoma 180 reaches 98.88%.

Step 3: Calm your mind and calm your nerves.

Poria has a sweet and mild taste, is slightly warm in nature, enters the heart meridians, nourishes the heart and calms the mind. Insomnia, epilepsy, memory loss and other symptoms are commonly treated with this product.

Step 4: Eliminate dampness and reduce swelling.

Treat edema. The regulation of the body's water and moisture metabolism is responsible for the lungs, spleen, kidneys and triple energizer. The lungs are responsible for dispersing and descending, regulating the water channels and distributing body fluids; the spleen is responsible for transporting and transforming water and moisture; the kidneys are responsible for evaporating water and moisture; and the triple burner is the path for regulating water and moisture. If the evaporation of one (or more) of them is disordered, the water metabolism will be hindered, resulting in water stagnation and edema. Poria is used for treatment. It tastes sweet and mild in nature, and can eliminate dampness without damaging Qi, so it is the main treatment. It also has the function of strengthening the spleen and stomach, so it can treat weak spleen and slow functioning. It is used by those with fluid retention, and has the effect of collecting specimens at the same time, so it is the more suitable choice.

Step 5: Replenish deficiency and cure fatigue.

This product is sweet in nature and slightly warm in nature. It penetrates deeply into the human heart and spleen meridians. It nourishes the lungs and stomach and treats deficiency. Deficiency of both the heart and spleen is often caused by long-term imbalance due to illness, fatigue, anxiety, or chronic bleeding. Symptoms include palpitations, insomnia, dizziness, memory loss, sallow complexion, poor appetite, abdominal distension, loose stools, fatigue, or subcutaneous hemorrhages, pale and tender tongue, and deep and thready pulse. Treatment is suitable for strengthening the spleen and replenishing blood, calming the mind and soothing the nerves. Poria has this effect, so it can be used.

Step 6: Treat dizziness, wind deficiency, five kinds of fatigue, and dry mouth and tongue. It can stop palpitations, anger and forgetfulness. Happy and educational, nourishing the spirit.

Step 7 is used to treat epilepsy, soothe the mind, help sleep, and relieve fatigue; it is used to treat acute pain and fullness under the heart, and poor colon function. It can treat chest tightness and shortness of breath due to gallbladder deficiency, and strengthen the spleen and stomach and promote warming.
