The peduncle is 2-10mm long; the bracts are linear, 2-3 times as long as the calyx tube; the corolla is yellowish white, tubular-funnel-shaped, 1-1.3cm long, covered with soft hairs, with a shallow capsule at the base, and 5 lobes; there are 5 stamens, slightly extending out of the corolla; the style is glabrous and extends out of the corolla. The berries are blue-black, oval, about 1.5 cm long, and slightly covered with white powder. The flowering period is May-June, and the fruiting period is August-September.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Growing under thickets or deciduous forests at an altitude of 2600-3500m.

[Pharmacological action] Antihypertensive effect: 80 ml of blueberry concentrated juice was administered through duodenal catheter. It had no significant effect on the blood pressure of anesthetized dogs with normal blood pressure.
