【Properties】 Identification of properties: The rhizome is densely covered with brown narrow lanceolate scales. The leaves are herbaceous, oblong or oblong-round, monopinnate in the upper part and dipinnate in the lower part; the lateral pinnae are 3-6 pairs, alternate or nearly opposite at the base, lanceolate, acuminate, slightly asymmetrically rounded cuneate or nearly truncated at the base, with short petioles, or nearly sessile, with irregular, oblique upward sharp serrations on the edges; the lower 1-2 pairs of pinnae are monopinnate. There are 3-6 pairs of pinnae, the top one is the largest, the water sac at the tip of the lateral vein extends to the lower side of the serrations and is more or less close together. The sporangium is distributed along 2/3 of the lateral veins.
