[Properties] This product is slightly stick-shaped, 1 to 1.4 cm long and about 0.2 cm in diameter. The young leaves are green, one long and one short, rolled into an arrow shape, with the tip folded downward, and a tiny embryo can be seen between the two young leaves. The radicle is cylindrical, about 3mm long, and yellowish white. It is brittle, easy to break, and has several small holes on the cross section. It has a faint smell and a bitter taste.
