[Source] It is a plant of the genus Reineckea in the Liliaceae family, Reineckea carnea (Andr.) Kunth, and the whole plant is used as medicine. It can be harvested throughout the year, washed, and used fresh or cut into sections and dried.

【Nature and flavor】 Sweet, neutral.

【Functions and indications】Moistens the lungs and relieves cough, dispels wind, and sets bones. Used for pulmonary tuberculosis, cough with hemoptysis, chronic bronchitis, asthma, rheumatoid arthritis; used externally to treat injuries and fractures.

[Usage and Dosage] 0.5-1 liang; for external use, mash and stir-fry with wine and apply to the affected area.
