[Original form] Long-haired Polygala shrub or small tree, 1-4m tall. A few are cylindrical, with longitudinal grooves and narrow ridges, and young branches are covered with glandular short fine hairs. Simple leaves are alternate; petioles are 0.6-1cm long and grooved on the upper side; leaves are nearly leathery, densely arranged in spirals at the branch ends, leaf blades are elliptical, elliptic-lanceolate to oblanceolate, 4-10cm long, 1.5-3cm wide, acuminate to caudate-acuminate at the apex, narrowed to cuneate at the base, entire, wavy, green above, light green below. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : The seeds are ovate, brown-black, about 2mm long and 1.5mm in diameter, covered with brown or white long hairs, and without caruncle.
