[Source] Medicinal material source: the whole herb of the orchid plant Nine-clawed Dragon

[Original form] Nine-clawed dragon, perennial herb, 20-50cm tall. The roots are thick and slender, grayish white and fleshy. The stems grow prostrate or obliquely. The leaves are alternate, in 2 rows, sheath-like at the base; the leaf blades are strap-lanceolate, fleshy and slightly thick, green, with a distinct midrib. In summer, flower stems emerge from the leaves, and purple-blue flowers bloom. Racemes grow at the ends of branches. The capsule is elliptical and cylindrical with longitudinal ridges.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: epiphytic on stream edge rocks or dripping rocks.
