The capsule is oval, slightly flat, with a short beak and star-shaped hairs. The flowering period is from November to February of the following year, and the fruiting period is from March to April.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Growing in forests and forest edges at an altitude of 500-2 600m. Distributed in central, south and southwest China.
