[Original morphology] Horseshoe plowshare pointed, tuber nearly spherical or oblong, dense one 5-10cm long, fleshy roots with many fibrous roots. The leaves of young plants are halberd-shaped, with the front lobes triangular, up to 4 cm long and 2 cm wide at the base; the rear lobes are narrowly lanceolate, 3.5cm long and 5mm wide at the base. The leaves of perennial plants are broadly cordate-ovate, 3-lobed or deeply lobed, the middle lobe is ovate-acuminate, sometimes with a fine tip, 10-15cm long, 6-11cm wide, the lateral lobes are obliquely ovate, 8-13cm long, often auricularly spreading on the outside, the middle lobe has about 10 pairs of lateral veins, obliquely extending, often forked, with 2 collective veins, and reticular veins. Inflorescence stalk is 5-10cm long; spathe is lavender with green, purple inside, tube is oblong, 2.5-3.5cm long, 1-1.5cm thick; eaves is long ovate-lanceolate, gradually pointed, more than 15cm long, green-white outside when dry, purple-red inside, 5-8cm wide when unfolded, spadix, female inflorescence is short cylindrical, about 7mm long, ovary is yellow-green, stigma is purple; neutral inflorescence is 2.8cm long, with flowers in the lower half, no flowers in the upper half, neutral flowers are yellow, linear, about 7mm long, and curled; male inflorescence is pink, 1.2-1.7cm long, about 5mm thick; appendages are purple-red, oblong-conical, with short stalks, 4-7mm thick at the base, and 5-12cm long. The berries are oval. The seeds are spherical and the flowering period is May-July.
