【Original morphology】 Plant height 45-60cm. The rhizome is short and erect, with brown, ovate-lanceolate scales on the top and base of the petiole. Leaves are clustered; petiole 18-28cm long, leaf blade papery, atrophied, linear-lanceolate 30-35cm long, apex pinnately shallowly lobed, gradually pointed and long-tailed, base not shortened, once deeply pinnately lobed; pinnae comb-shaped, 25-40 pairs, alternate, 2.5-3cm long, 7-10mm wide, nearly sessile, sickle-lanceolate, asymmetrical at base, ear-shaped above, truncated below, acute, small and serrated at margin, slightly awn-shaped at apex; veins pinnately thin, obliquely forked. The sori are brown, small, dorsally borne on the bifurcation of the lateral veins of the pinnae, arranged in a row on each side of the midrib, with more than 10 in the upper row and 3-6 in the lower row.

The petiole is 18-28cm long, dark straw color, with dense lanceolate scales at the base and nearly smooth at the top. The leaf blade is lanceolate, 30-34cm long, 4.5-5cm wide in the middle, not narrow at the base, once pinnate, with pinnae 2.5-3cm long, 6-8mm wide, sickle-lanceolate, with a raised pointed triangle on the upper side of the base and flat on the lower side. The edge has protruding sharp teeth with thorns, and the veins are pinnate-shaped. The sporangium is borne at the top of the bifurcated upper veins, and the sori is round-shielded and nearly entire.
