Leaves are basal; petioles are slender, 10-30cm long, with narrow sheaths at the base; leaf blades are ovate-cordate or circular-cordate, 5-26cm long, 5-20cm wide, acute at the apex, earlobe-shaped at the base, 2-9cm long, green on the surface, gray-green on the back with white powder, 5-7 palmate veins, reticular veinlets, obvious, and wavy edges. The flower is gray-green with a slight purple-red color during the flowering season, 20-40cm high, with 3-5 flowers arranged in corymbose cymes; bracts and bracteoles are ovate-lanceolate, 0.2-1cm long, and gradually pointed at the apex; there are 2 calyxes, helmet-shaped, 0.5-1.5cm long, glabrous, gradually pointed at the apex, fused at the base, and fall off early; there are 4 petals, white, obovate, 1-2.5cm long, 0.7-1.8cm wide; there are many stamens, filaments are 0.5-0.7cm long, anthers are oblong, about 0.3cm long, and yellow; ovary is ovate or narrowly ovate, 0.5-1cm long, glabrous, style is 0.3-0.5cm long, and stigma is 2-lobed.
