[Source] Medicinal material source: the whole plant of Jasmine thick-leaved plant of the Oleaceae family.

【Original form】 Climbing shrub, 1-9m high. The twigs are yellowish brown, slightly flattened at the nodes, hollow, and the current year's branches are pubescent or smooth. Leaves are opposite, simple; petioles are 0.5-1.8cm long, twisted, and jointed at the bottom; leaf blades are leathery, yellow-brown or brown when dry, broadly ovate, ovate or elliptical, 4-10cm long, 1.5-6.5cm wide, acuminate or caudate-acuminate at the apex, rounded or broadly cuneate at the base, rarely cordate, with recurved leaf margins, reticulate papillae, and often with brown glandular dots. The inflorescence is densely packed and capitulate, terminal or axillary; the peduncle is 1-5mm long and noded; there are 1-2 pairs of leaflet-like bracts at the base of the inflorescence, which are nearly sessile, and the other bracts are linear; the pedicel is 1-5mm long, thickened when fruiting, and covered with short soft hairs; the flowers are fragrant; the calyx is glabrous or covered with short soft hairs, with 6-7 linear lobes; the corolla is white, the corolla tube is 2-3cm long, 1.5-2mm in diameter, with 6-9 lobes, lanceolate or oblong, with obtuse or acuminate tips; the styles are of different lengths. The fruit is spherical, oval or kidney-shaped, 0.9-1.8cm long, 6-10mm in diameter, and black. The flowering period is from August to February of the following year, and the fruiting period is from February to June.
