[Original form] A soft, winding vine. The whole plant has latex and the stem is covered with 2 rows of soft hairs. Leaves are opposite; petiole is 2-4cm long; leaf blade is oblong, rarely ovate-oblong, 7.5-11cm long, 3.5-4.5cm wide, with sharp tip and rounded base; lateral veins are 5-7 on each side, rising in an arc. Umbrella-shaped cymes are axillary, 2-3cm long, with 4-5 flowers; calyx is deeply lobed into 5 parts, with about 10 glands at the inner base; corolla is light green on the outside, yellow on the inside, radial, 1-1.5cm in diameter; corolla has 5 lobes, covering to the right; corona is pentagonal, with 1 pollinia in each chamber, square-round, and erect. The follicles are linear-lanceolate, up to 12 cm long, about 1 cm in diameter, and gradually pointed toward the tip. The seeds are up to 2 cm long and about 3 mm wide, with white silky hairs up to 3 cm long. The flowering period is from August to October, and the fruiting period is from September to December.
