[Original form] Artemisia selengensis is a perennial herb, 60-120cm tall. The main root is obvious, with many lateral roots; the rhizome is slightly thick. The stem is erect, solitary, purple-brown, with longitudinal ridges, oblique branches in the middle and upper parts, and covered with spider-like hairs. The lower leaves wither during anthesis, and the middle leaves wilt during anthesis.
