The flesh in cross section is mostly a thick fleshy body formed by the perianth, which is light brown to brown in color. Achenes are numerous, heart-shaped or ovate, small, yellow-brown, and buried in the fleshy body. It has a slight odor and tastes sour and slightly sweet.

The leaves of white cassia tree are rectangular, covered with small white hairs on the underside, with obvious reticular veins; the male flowers are 12 to 16 mm long; the fruit has a long stalk, about 1.5 cm in diameter, and is covered with soft hairs.
