[Original form] Gentiana scabra : a short herb, about 4 cm tall. Stem solitary or in clusters of several. Leaves are opposite, sessile, dense, and entire; basal leaves are several, broadly ovate or ovate-elliptic, 12-15 mm long, 11-12 mm wide, gradually pointed at the apex, and tail-pointed at the top.
