[Source] These are sugar particles condensed from the secretions of the leaves of the leguminous plant Camel Thorn . It is harvested in summer. The ground is covered with cloth and the branches and leaves are beaten so that the sugar grains fall off. And remove impurities from branches and leaves.

[Habitat distribution] Distributed in Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia and other places. Produced in Xinjiang.

[Chemical composition] The above-ground part (dried) collected during the flowering period contains vitamin C-110 mg%, carotene 10 mg%, vitamin K, a small amount of vitamin B1, ursolic acid 0.30%, and flavanol 0.23%. The dried root contains vitamin C-80 mg%, carotene 8 mg%, and ursolic acid 0.75%.

【Nature and flavor】 Sweet and sour, neutral.

【Functions and indications】 Treats bone steaming, thirst, bloody dysentery, diarrhea, abdominal pain and headache.

[Usage and Dosage] For oral administration: grind into powder, 3 to 5 qian.
