[Original form] Impatiens macrophylla, herbaceous, 30-60cm tall. The rhizome is long and the stem is thick, erect and unbranched. Leaves are alternate, densely growing in the upper part; leaf blades are oblong-ovate or oblong-circular-oblanceolate, 10-22cm long, 4-8cm wide, gradually pointed at the apex, base cuneate and extending downward into a petiole, with wavy crenates on the margins and small ridges between the teeth; 9-10 pairs of lateral veins. The peduncle is terminal or born in the upper leaf axils, 7-15cm long, bisexual flowers, 4-10 flowers arranged in racemes, pedicels up to 2cm long; flowers are large, yellow, up to 5cm long; sepals 4, 2 outer ones obliquely ovate, 2 inner ones linear-lanceolate; the standard petal elliptic, rounded at the tip, with a small cusp, thin midrib on the back, short wing petals, 2-lobed, the apex of the base lobe acuminate, the apex of the upper lobe obtuse, the auricle on the back is wide and saccular, with a slender spur 2-3fcm long incurved or spiral; stamens 5, anthers obtuse. Capsule club-shaped, smooth. The flowering period is August-September, and the fruiting period is September-October.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Grown in the shade and wet places under the forest in the grass on the hillside at an altitude of 400-1500m.
