The raceme has 3-8 flowers; the inflorescence axis and pedicels are densely covered with light-colored short tables or slightly hard hairs; the bracts are linear; the pedicels are 1.5-4cm long; the bracteoles are born in the middle or lower part of the pedicels, narrowly linear, 3-8mm long, 0.3-0.5mm wide, and densely covered with short soft hairs. Flowers are bisexual and bilaterally symmetrical; sepals 5, petal-shaped, blue-purple, upper sepals high helmet-shaped, 1.7-2.4cm high, lower edge 1.5-1.6cm long, forming a downward-spreading beak with the outer line, lateral sepals 1.2-1.4cm long, densely covered with short soft hairs on the outside; petals 2, lip 4.5-6mm long, slightly concave, spur about 3mm long, curved backwards, glabrous; stamens numerous, filaments entire or with 2 small teeth, glabrous; carpels 5, glabrous or sparsely short-haired on the upper part. The follicles are 1.1-1.8 cm long and glabrous. Seeds are numerous, triangular, 2.5-3mm long, and densely covered with membranous wings. The flowering period is from July to October, and the fruiting period is from August to November. [Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: Grown in mountains at an altitude of 2400-3200. [Properties] Identification of properties: The root is conical, 5-7cm long and 1-2cm in diameter. The surface is dark brown, extremely wrinkled, and has numerous coarse longitudinal grooves. It is hard and not easy to break. When broken, it is purple-black with a slightly visible annular cambium.
