Paphiopedilum of the same color, a perennial epiphytic herb. The fibrous roots are thick and long, covered with gray-brown hairs. The leaves are basal, spreading flat to the ground, with leaf sheaths overlapping each other; the leaf blades are elliptical or elliptical-lanceolate, 6-16cm long, 2.5-4cm wide, covered with brown hairs when young, which become sparse with age, green on the upper side with white spots, and purple-red spots on the back. There are 1-2 peduncles, emerging from the leaves, 6-11cm high, densely covered with brown hairs, and 1-3 flowers; the flowers are light yellow, 5-7cm in diameter, and densely covered with purple-brown spots; the lip is ovate-shaped. Flowering period is from April to June.
