Pangolin dosage and usage

Pangolin can actually be used as a traditional Chinese medicine. The medicinal effect is relatively good, and it has a wide range of uses. Especially female friends can take some pangolins after giving birth. This will make their milk more sufficient and there will be no problem of insufficient milk. It can also be boiled together with pig's trotters to make medicine.

Promote menstruation and lactation

In case of postpartum milk retention, use 10g of Paojia tablets, 10g of Vaccaria, 6[2]g of Tongcao, 10g of Danggui, 30g of Huangqi, stewed with pig's trotters and taken orally. If the breasts are swollen, painful and hard but milk retention occurs, use 12g of Danggui, 12g of roasted pangolin, 15g of Vaccaria, 9g each of Tongcao, Rhizoma Smilacis Glabrae, and Rhizoma Lulutong. If the woman has amenorrhea, use 6g of Paojiazhu powder, mixed with rice wine and taken in 3 doses. Stop taking the medicine when menstruation comes.

Remove blood stasis and resolve stagnation

Clinically proven, pangolins can be used to treat injuries from falls, swollen joints, pain in the ribs, hemiplegia, various swollen lymph nodes, tumor masses and various cancers. For example, to treat amenorrhea caused by blood stasis, use 15 grams of roasted pangolin and 12 grams of chicken's gizzard lining, decoct in water and take in two doses. It will be effective in a few days. To treat breast cancer, use 240 grams of pangolin, 60 grams of centipede, and 120 grams of scorpion. Grind them into fine powder, make into pills as big as soybeans, and take one pill a day. It has the effect of eliminating accumulation and dispersing nodules.

Eliminate carbuncle and drain pus

Zhang Xichun's "Medical Records of Combining Chinese and Western Medicine" said: "Pangolin has a light taste and a neutral nature, with a fishy and moving smell. Its moving nature is meticulous, so it can open up the internal organs, penetrate the meridians, and reach the joints. It can open up blood clots and blood accumulation to treat carbuncles. Use it boldly and you will see the effect immediately." To treat the initial stage of breast abscess: 15 grams of pangolin, 30 grams of dandelion, decocted in water and taken in 2 doses, take for 3 to 5 days in a row, the effect is better. To treat carbuncle, take 30 grams of pangolin slices and 30 grams of tooth soap, roast them until they turn brown, grind them into fine powder, take 3 grams each time, mix with hot wine and drink. To treat the necrotic flesh that does not fall off after carbuncle, you can grind roasted pangolin into powder and sprinkle it on the sore once a day.

Wind-cold-dampness arthralgia

For numbness of hands and feet, pain in the limbs, cramps and other symptoms caused by wind, cold and dampness, pangolin can be used to dredge the meridians and activate qi and blood circulation. It is often used together with Qianghuo, Fangfeng, Gastrodia elata, Duhuo, Angelica sinensis, Chuanxiong, Cassia twig, Smilax glabra, Clematis chinensis, and Clematis chinensis. For treating rheumatic pain, take 15 grams of pangolin, 30 grams of clematis, 30 grams of papaya, and 15 grams of asarum, soak them in 1000 ml of wine for 7 days, then take 20 ml each time, twice a day, which is more effective.

In addition, pangolin can also be used externally to stop bleeding. "Erjia Decoction" is made up of fried pangolin, turtle shell and other drugs, combined with Panax notoginseng, Salvia miltiorrhiza, Artemisia capillaris, Rhizoma Cyperi, Pseudostellariae, Poria, White Peony Root, Ligustrum lucidum, Astragalus, and glutinous rice root. It can soften hard masses, promote blood circulation, clear away heat, invigorate Qi, and nourish Yin. It is also quite effective in treating chronic hepatitis and early cirrhosis.
