[Original form] Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea, perennial herb. The rhizome is cylindrical, 3-4cm long, up to 1cm thick, forked, and has conical buds on the nodes during the flowering period. The leaves are clustered, sessile, linear, 10-20cm long including the sheath, 0.5-1cm wide, acute, entire, with wavy or not margins, gradually narrowing in the middle, and gradually expanding downwards into a white membranous sheath; the dorsal surface of the midrib is convex. Inflorescence 1-3, fusal inflorescence stalk 5-10mm long, dark brown, thin at the bottom and thick at the top; spathe 6-7cm long, spiral state, tube about 1.5cm long, about 1cm thick, light blue, seamless tube (buried in sand) containing the inflorescence, a light purple septum drooping from the top of the inner surface, covering the male inflorescence; eaves spiral, the lower edge is close together and twisted, the upper half is open and spiral, long and gradually pointed, dark bluish purple on the outside, light purple on the inside, densely covered with dark bluish purple spots and fine lines, shiny.
