[Original form] An evergreen shrub with long petiole wild fan flowers, 1-3m tall. Branchlets have longitudinal ridges and are glabrous. Leaves are alternate; petiole is 10-15mm long; leaf blade is leathery, lanceolate, oblong-lanceolate or narrowly lanceolate, rarely ovate-lanceolate, 5-12cm long, 1.5-2.5cm wide, apex long acuminate, base gradually narrowed or cuneate, midrib is obvious, veins are glabrous, or near the base is covered with a small amount of fine hairs, below the midrib is a pair of larger lateral veins, rising from 1-5mm from the leaf base, forming three veins away from the base, the other lateral veins are slightly obvious on the leaf surface, or there are 1-2 pairs of indistinct lateral veins.
