[Original morphology] 1. Mud snail, the shell is long oval, hard and thick, the shell height is generally 56-70mm, the width is about 2/3 of the height, there are 8-10 whorls, the suture line is obvious, the spiral part is conical, each layer increases rapidly, the upper part of the 3-4 layers of the expanded part forms a shoulder angle, and the bottom of the shoulder angle is slightly straight. The shell surface is grayish white, with a yellowish-brown skin on the outside, and some individuals have faint light brown spots. The shell surface is smooth and the growth lines are obvious. The shell opening is long oval, and the inside is white and shiny. The outer lip is thin, while the inner lip is thick and curled outward. The navel is not deep. In some individuals the navel is covered by the inner lip. Anterior groove with rounded thick ribs. The operculum is horny, oblong, thick, and brown, with the nucleus located on the anterior and inner side.

[Habitat distribution] Ecological environment: 1. Lives in soft mud or muddy seabed at a depth of 7-30m. Carnivorous.
