[Usage and Dosage] For oral use: decoct in water, 1.5 to 3 qian; or grind into powder. For external use: mash and apply.

[Additional prescription] ① Treating cold dysentery: 3 to 5 qian of white basil stems and leaves, a little brown sugar, add appropriate amount of boiling water and stew. (Fujian Folk Herbs)
