How to fry aconite

How to fry aconite

There are many aliases for aconite, such as kusnezoffii, iron flower, and five poisons, etc. It mainly grows in Sichuan and Hubei in my country. It usually matures from June to August each year. It can dispel cold and relieve pain, as well as replenish fire and boost yang. Its morphological characteristics are tuberous roots, which are about two to four centimeters long. The leaves in the middle of the stem have long stalks, and the leaves are very thin. So how to fry aconite?

First, how to decoct aconite? Decoction first means to boil the aconite first, and then add other medicines and cook together without changing the water. Use the liquid from boiling aconite to cook other medicines. The purpose of boiling aconite first is to allow the toxic components in it to decompose in hot water, and the toxicity of the decomposition products is greatly reduced.

Second, more soup should be added to the aconite, and it should be simmered for more than two hours before other medicines are added and simmered together. It can achieve better therapeutic effects without causing poisoning. The principle is: Aconite contains toxic aconitine. During the decocting process, aconitine is first hydrolyzed into less toxic aconitine secondary alkaloids, and then further hydrolyzed into aconitine original alkaloids, which are basically non-toxic. Therefore, the aconite must be decocted for more than 2 hours, and it should not be taken lightly!

Third, Aconite, also known as Aconitum or Aconite root. It is a processed product of the sub-roots of the Aconitum plant of the Aconitum family, and is often processed into salt aconite, black aconite (Heishunpian), white aconite, etc. It has the effects of restoring yang, rescuing adverse conditions, replenishing fire and assisting yang, dispelling cold and relieving pain. It has a very hot nature and is often used to treat all chronic cold diseases. However, aconite is poisonous and should not be used in excessive amounts.

How to decoct aconite? First use a smaller container, preferably a casserole, and decoct the aconite for an hour. At the same time, soak other medicines in a container (also preferably a casserole). After the aconite is decocted, pour it into the medicine together with the liquid medicine. Then bring to a boil over high heat and decoct the medicine over low heat (generally, decoct the medicine head for 15-20 minutes). After pouring out the medicine juice, add water and boil it twice. Turn on high heat, then simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes. Pour out the medicine juice and mix the two juices. Take in two or three doses.
