However, there are still some people who do not know what bezoar is and have no idea about its use. This has caused many people to use bezoar incorrectly. In the face of these phenomena, we hope that everyone can learn more about the following articles, which can help you more quickly understand what bezoar is and how to use it, and make up for our lack of knowledge in this area.

Only by letting most people know what bezoar is can consumers use it correctly and ensure people's life safety. Most of the bezoars we commonly see in life are artificially made, which can meet the needs of more and more people and allow bezoars to be better applied in our daily lives.

Bezoar is the dried gallstone of the bovine animal Bos taurus domesticus Gmelin. When slaughtering a cow, if bezoar is found, the bile should be filtered out, the bezoar should be taken out, the outer membrane should be removed, and it should be dried in the shade.

Bezoar is the most commonly used precious medicinal material, and the annual consumption is very large. Although China has a wide area producing bezoar, in the past, not enough attention was paid to the production of bezoar, and a large amount of it had to be imported every year. Therefore, the products are divided into two categories: domestic bezoar and imported bezoar. Domestic bezoar has slightly different shapes and smells due to different production areas, but they can all be used as medicine. Commercially, those produced in North China are called "Beijing Bezoar", those produced in Northeast China are called "Eastern Bezoar", and those produced in Northwest China are called "Western Bezoar". Imported bezoars are divided into two types: "Jinshan bezoars" and "Indian bezoars". Jinshan bezoars are mainly produced in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Bolivia and Canada; Indian bezoars are mainly produced in India. Depending on the growth location of bezoar, its name is also different. For example, the one that grows in the gallbladder is called "bile bezoar", the one that grows in the bile duct is called "duct bezoar", and the one that grows in the hepatic duct is called "liver bezoar". Most of the common ones on the market are bile bezoar. After liberation, the people's government attached great importance to the production and development of medicinal materials. The output of bezoar increased year by year, and the import quantity was greatly reduced. In 1956, Tianjin Pharmaceutical Factory successfully synthesized bezoar artificially. Currently, there are two main types of bezoar on the market: natural bezoar and artificial bezoar. In order to increase the production of natural bezoar, slaughterhouses in various places need to pay attention to and strengthen the production of bezoar. Cattle should be inspected in detail before slaughtering. If sick cows are found, they should be marked. After slaughtering, careful attention should be paid to whether there are lumps in the gall bladder, bile duct and hepatic duct. If bezoar is found, no matter how big or small, it should be removed immediately to increase the production of bezoar and further ensure market supply.

The fact that many people don’t understand what bezoar is fully reflects the weakness of our medical knowledge, which also leads to the occurrence of many related problems. For example, we often hear that some people have problems using certain items. For these problems, we hope that everyone can read more relevant medical knowledge when they have time to fill the gaps in their brains.
